How do I provide details of my inventory?

Our system can either pull your inventory directly from your current ecommerce solution if you have one by connecting to your live database, or you can email (or ftp) your inventory to a dedicated email address where you inventory will be loaded into our systems. You can update your inventory as much as you like and the system processes it automatically.

What inventory details do I have to provide?

You only have to provide the bare minimum to successfully list your items, such as barcode, title, price, minimum price and stock levels of all the items you want to sell. Do not worry as we will provide you with examples and help you all the way.

Has fast does your system reprice against competitors?

Our systems work as fast as Playtrade allows it to and is unbeatable on speed. The whole process will automatically reprice your stock and inventory levels around every 3 minutes.

Does the software download orders from Playtrade into my ecommerce system?

Yes, our system continuously requests and downloads new orders (the process takes about 1 – 5 minutes) either into your existing ecommerce system or our specially built one for you.

Does the software update Playtrade when the item is dispatched?

Yes, once you mark the item dispatched in your ecommerce system or our online website a file will be uploaded to playtrade to update the orders to dispatched, as required by the playtrade system.

How many items can I expect to sell a day on Playtrade with the system?

As our clients are constantly repriced to the top position, many of them sell between 100 – 500 units a day on playtrade.

How do I know I will not sell for less than I want to?

You specifiy a minimum price and the system will not go below this, if it cannot reprice because the current price is too low it will revert to your preferred price.

Will this system help me improve my Playtrade ratings as well as sales?

Yes it will, as it will continuously update to your accurate inventory. Therefore you should not sell any items you do not have in stock

Can I sell on other marketplaces such as Ebay, Amazon and priceminister?

Yes this playtrade system can easily be incorporated with our other marketplace systems. We have a similar system that allows you to control your inventory and automatically reprice on Amazon.co.uk , Amazon.de , Amazon.com , Amazon.fr , Ebay , priceminister plus many others.

If an item sells on one marketplace will the inventory automatically be updated across all other marketplaces?

Yes, we automatically and continuously download and import orders either into your ecommerce system or our online system (which you can login to). The inventory is then automatically recalculated and a new inventory is uploaded across all the marketplaces so you do not oversell
